Quality Assurance
Quality You Can Count On
From foundation seed procurement to your farm — every step of our process is governed by rigorous quality standards and international certifications.
Our Process
6-Stage Quality Control Process
Every seed you plant from Patel Seeds has passed through a rigorous, multi-stage quality verification process — no exceptions.
Foundation Seed Procurement
We source foundation seed exclusively from government-certified breeders and our own ISO-registered breeding stations, ensuring genetic purity from the very start.
Germination Testing
Every seed lot undergoes germination testing in our NABL-compliant laboratory under controlled temperature and humidity conditions. Only lots achieving >82% germination pass to the next stage.
Moisture Analysis
Seed moisture content is measured using precision moisture meters. Seeds are dried to target moisture levels (8–10%) to ensure long shelf life and prevent mould growth during storage.
Physical Purity & Sizing
Seeds pass through multi-stage cleaning and grading machines that remove inert matter, weed seeds, immature or damaged seeds, and sort by size for uniform planting.
Disease & Pathogen Screening
Seed health testing is performed for seed-borne pathogens including fungi and bacteria. Failing lots are treated or rejected, never compromised on.
Packaging & Labelling
Approved lots are packaged in moisture-proof, UV-resistant sealed bags with tamper-evident labels. Each pack carries a unique batch number for full traceability.
